Blodeuwedd ( pronounced Blo doe weth) comes from the Welsh group of stories in the Mabignagion. Blodeuwedd was created from flowers by a mage for a man who was forbidden from wedding a woman. Blodeuwedd ends up falling in love with another man and plotting her immortal husbands demise. Her punishment was to be transformed into an owl relegated to the shadows.
